11 Apr 03: FISD Works with Data Management Firms To Promote Use of VRXML Report Standard

The Financial Information Services Division (FISD) of the Software & Information Industry Association is working with a number of market data management software providers to help develop interfaces to the Vendor Reporting eXtensible Markup Language (VRXML) reporting system. So far, Market Data Services Ltd. and The Roberts Group have adopted VRXML within their products, and Screen Consultants is working on an interface. VRXML, which is administered by FISD, has been adopted by the New York Stock Exchange for vendor reporting of users receiving its quote information.
