In Brief: XBRL Group to Hold 7th International Conference Next Month
The eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) working group will hold its seventh international conference next month in Amsterdam, and has slated an eighth conference for November. The conference will be held May 19-22, at the Renaissance Hotel Amsterdam. The conference is hosted by XBRL International and XBRL Netherlands in conjunction with het Koninklijk Nederlands Instituut van Registeraccountants (Royal NIVRA) and Electronic Commerce Platform Netherlands (ECP.NL). The conference schedule includes public information and education sessions, industry interest groups and working sessions. The conference aims to demonstrate how XBRL enables Business Reporting to government agencies, regulators and industries. The theme of the conference is Business Reporting Online, and the event presents a significant opportunity for attendees to network and share information with potential customers and peers as well as the key members and decision-makers behind XBRL International.
