Altova, Inc. and Software AG announced that Altova's XML content editor, Authentic 5, will be included as a standard component of all future Tamino Server product offerings at no additional cost to the Tamino Server customer. The combined offering is aimed at providing cost-effective access to XML content editing applications. Software AG's Tamino XML Server is a platform for storing, publishing and exchanging XML documents. Altova's Authentic 5 is a browser-enabled XML document editor that allows business users to capture both data and content directly into XML for storage into any high performance XML repository.

In Brief: Cape Clear Upgrades WSDL Editor

Cape Clear Software has released a new version of its free WSDL (Web Services Description Language) Editor. The WSDL Editor provides a graphical environment for creating and editing WSDL and works with existing languages such as .NET, Java, J2EE and Corba.

This latest release makes the creation of Web Services faster and easier, while adding support for building Web Services from large XML Schema. This latest release of the WSDL Editor introduces a range of improvements over the previous release, including: improved graphical environment; new automated wizards; support for large XML Schemas; simplified processes for creating different WSDL elements; and broader support for WSDL validation against WSDL schema and WSDL profiling.
