In Brief: Moody’s KMV Seeks Candidates for XBRL Credit Risk Test

Moody’s KMV is recruiting five bank institutions to participate in a test of a prototype of its XBRL-based credit-risk analysis software. The company is also seeking five accounting firms to pilot XBRL-based accounting software. As part of the test, Moody’s hopes to encourage 50 or so mutual clients of the banks and accounting firms to file credit reports to the banks using XBRL.

In Brief: Sungard XML Fix Engine Gets Swift Clearance

The latest version of Sungard Data Systems’ XML-enabled Financial Information exchange (FIX) engine has received certification from the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (Swift). The system, SwiftReady Gold Label 15022 version 4.5 is a translator for incoming and outgoing ISO 7775 messages. It coexists with Sungard’s FIX Mint Hub to offer FIX-Swift messaging translation.
