19 June 2002: StraightThrough Shows Express Integration Platform at SIA

StraightThrough Inc. plans to showcase its Express Integration Platform at this week’s SIA Technology Management Conference  in New York. StraightThrough Express is a web-based, n-tier straight-through-processing and T+1 solution.

According to StraightThrough CTO Brian Muth, the software is based on Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and Windows Distributed Internet Architecture. “For integration and rapid application development, we draw upon MSXML 4.0, .Net Web Services, MSMQ and Microsoft SOAP 2.0 as well as older integration strategies such as FTP, SMTP and CVS file exchange,” he says.

“At the same time we embrace open standards such as W3C XML Protocol and XSD Schema for XML file exchange. We take full advantage of the built-in security features of the Windows 2000/XP operating systems including X509 digital certificates, Kerberos delegation, and L2TP/IPSec VPN to offer to our customers.”

StraightThrough will be demonstrating the Express platform at Microsft’s Booth (#3504). StraightThrough was founded in 1999 by two former Barclays Global executives with a view to developing a platform to streamline STP/T+1 initiatives.
