6 June 2002: Ironbark Releases FpML Adaptor for BizTalk Server

Ironbark Ltd., an OTC derivatives software developer, has released OTC Connect, a Financial products Markup Language (FpML) adaptor for Microsoft’s BizTalk Server 2002.

OTC Connect integrates derivatives platforms within and between financial institutions using the FpML protocol and the BizTalk platform. The application is aimed at helping firms to implement automatic transaction handling and application-to-application integration.

Employing the BizTalk Server, the new product complements adaptors for both Financial Information Exchange (FIX) and Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunications (SWIFT) standards.

It also ensures tight integration with Microsoft’s .Net architecture by implementing its processing engine in C# (C-Sharp), Microsoft’s new development language.
