31 May 2002: Linedata Services Deploys Financial Fusion Server

Linedata Services, a Paris-based financial services IT provider, has chosen the Financial Fusion Server to enhance its range of portfolio management packages with support for industry protocols.

The Financial Fusion Server manages the distribution of financial messages and supports Financial product Markup Language (FpML), Financial Information Exchange (FIX), Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT), Global Straight-Through-Processing Association (GSTPA), Omgeo, Electronic Message Exchange (EMX), and Reuters InterTrade Direct (RITD) standards with protocol extensibility.

Using the Financial Fusion Server, the components of Linedata’s services will be bound together, standardising order processing and enabling closer interaction between the front and back office.

Thierry Soret, deputy MC, Linedata Services, says, "This strategy involves a very high level of integration between the various software components of our range [of products] and especially between the front-office and back-office tools."
